WASHINGTON COUNTY, UT –The Healthy Dixie Council has selected Colleen Rue as the recipient of the Healthy Dixie Award for November, 2010. Colleen is the Fitness Coordinator for the Washington City Community Center.

 

"I nominated Colleen to recognize her for many hours of hard work and dedicated service to our organization", says Kole Staheli, Sports Manager for the Center. "She was instrumental in bringing the "BIG LOSER" weight loss challenge and the first annual LIFE Expo to the Washington City Community Center. She also performs many tasks behind the scenes and goes the extra mile in every aspect of her job. We're grateful for her service."

 

"The Healthy Dixie Award is an opportunity to recognize people or organizations who are taking action to improve the health of our community", explains Jane Lambert, the Council president."

 

The Healthy Dixie Council wants to thank them for their contribution."Healthy Dixie is a local coalition of citizens, businesses, city governments, the school district, and health entities working together to promote health and wellness.
